Project Management Services
Peak Performance Technologies provides overall coordination and management of
all aspects of the planning and implementation processes and can act as the
client's representative in leading the project team. Early involvement in a
project offers our clients the greatest opportunity to most effectively control
cost, schedule, and quality. We will also assist the client with risk and issue
management as well as implement a process that manages on-going change by
working with project stakeholders during the strategic development of a project.
This enables us to anticipate project conditions, provide our clients with an
early warning of potential project impact, and present the client with options
and recommendations that enable informed decisions to move ahead. All services
can be done using onsite, remote, full time or part time models.
Perhaps our greatest service to our public sector clients has been our ability
to help implement (or streamline) a
Program
Management Office (PMO)
. The success of today’s complex ERP and I/T engagements can be directly tied to
the structure and effectiveness of the Program Management model that is in place
throughout the organization. It is our experience that many education and
government customers are behind corporate America in this area so we have
created innovative ways to help our customers improve existing models or create
them from scratch depending on the need. Our team of project management experts
will provide multiple models from similar clients of size, scope and complexity
and work with the customer to tailor a model to their liking. Every organization
has it’s own unique culture and we help guide these customers to a model that we
believe will best integrate with the underlying culture.
Our consultants are Project Management Certified by PMI. The Project Management
Institute (PMI®) stands as a global leader in the field of Project Management.

the key activities that are required to guide the project through closure. These
activities include: Developing the business case, completing the feasibility
study, establishing the project charter, appointing the project team, setting up
the project office, performing the phase review.
Project Planning - The
successful foundation of any project begins before the execution process
commences. IT projects require, by their nature, a complex set of planning
decisions that strongly impact the long-term success of the project. We are
organized to provide expert management of the project planning process to meet
project challenges and mitigate risks. Our comprehensive planning approach
systematically moves the project from establishing program criteria and design,
through budgeting and scheduling, placing it in the best possible position to
commence implementation.
Project Execution and Control
- Project Planning Phase and ideally starts once the Project Plan has been
approved and baselined. Project Execution is characterized by the actual work on
the tasks planned and project Control involves the comparison of the actual
performance with the planned performance and taking appropriate corrective
action to get the desired output.
Project Closure
- Project closure is the last phase of the Project Life Cycle. The commencement
of the Project Closure Phase is determined by the completion of all Project
Objectives and acceptance of the end product by the customer. Project Closure
includes the following tasks: Release of the resources, both staff and
non-staff, and their redistribution and reallocation to other projects, if
needed. Closure of any financial issues like labor, contract etc. Collection and
completion of all project records. archiving of all project records. Documenting
the issues and lessons faced in the Project and their resolution.
Managing Project Change -
Change Management focuses on people to ensure that change is brought about
smoothly, effectively, and with minimum resistance. Our Change Management
activities are directed toward the identification and mitigation of the
people-oriented risks associated with accomplishing the change objectives. Our
four-phase process includes:
- Creating awareness: bringing common understanding of intended change aligned
with individual values and ensuring that the knowledge about the change has
occurred
- Building acceptance: creating environments conducive to change in mindsets and
sense of ownership to gain positive perception on the change initiative
- Accomplishing adoption: transferring ownership of the change program to the
business through institutionalization and internalization
- Achieving assimilation: coaching, problem solving, and addressing persistent
pockets of resistance
- As global organizations strive to align business and IT strategies and derive
maximum value from their IT investments, they need optimal program management
frameworks and skills to meet their investment goals.
